Virtual Tea Time #9: Vacation Edition
Sorry if that picture mislead you. My ‘reading week’ brought me not to a beautiful tropical beach, but to the frigid metropolis of Toronto where the sidewalks are actually ploughed! I’m making lemonade with the weather; clear sidewalks mean I can actually continue my half-marathon training without fear of breaking a femur. Also, since I have zero school work to do I can focus on reading books for fun and spending quality time with some blends.
Aren’t we cute? Chelsea, Davida, Sam, and I met up for a scrumptious brunch at Sadie’s Diner. Clearly Davida and I are meant for each other (watch out, C) because we ended up sharing a plate of gluten free and vegan banana chocolate chip pancakes and vegan rancheros. Too bad spaghetti wasn’t on the menu, because we could have got our ‘Lady and Tramp‘ on. Chelsea’s tofu scramble and Sam’s veggie burger also looked tempting.
I spent the rest of the day doing what I do best; urban hiking and yoga. I took a nice long jaunt, and then hopped the subway to make an Ashtanga class at Breathe Yoga Studio using my Passport to Prana (a multi-studio yoga pass). If you’re in the Toronto area I would recommend checking it out; the facilities are beautiful and the teacher was great!
