Virtual Tea Time #11

Helloooooo March; I’m so glad you’re here :)

Virtual Tea Time Much like my reading week vacation, the month of February was a bit of a blur. I wanted to reflect on my favourite posts from this past month, and in looking back I was shocked that I hardly remember writing them! I guess that’s what happens when you’re busy…

February HV Highlights

1. Be Aware- They’re Everywhere [ED Awareness Week]

2. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Baked Oatmeal for Two

3. The OhSheGlows Cookbook Review (you can enter for a chance to win a copy until Thursday!)

4. Simplify and Soften

I was planning to share a resolution update, but to be honest not must has changed since last month. I did, however check off a bucket list item: rock climbing!

Rock Climbing While you sip your tea, I am in the midst of my third weekend intensive for my yoga teacher training. One thing I always get asked is how I am enjoying it. The truth is I love it so much, but it never fails to completely rip me apart mentally, physically, and emotionally. As difficult as it is, I am so lucky to be taking part in it with a group of amazing people. <3

Yoga Toes There’s a lot going on in March; some fun, and some very challenging. The last day of my placement in three weeks time signals the end of my undergraduate education; real life in impending. On the bright side, finishing a week early means I get a bonus reading week! I’m planning for tons of Blend hang outs, attending the Yoga Conference in Toronto, and another week of Mom and Dad providing groceries  I’m also eager to continue with my half-marathon training in some better weather, especially since I was recently accepted into the Fitfluential Ambassador program!

I’ll leave you as usual with five great links for reading. Have an awesome Sunday and a great week :)

  1. Ahh for once I’m actually drinking tea while reading this! And I love rock climbing – I think I’ll have to go again this spring/summer, it’s been a while.
In March, I’ll finish writing the first draft of my thesis, which is both awesome and overwhelming. graduation is looming! (which again…awesome and terrifying).

Glad things are going so well for you and you are looking forward to wrapping things up with school.
Good luck with the half marathon training. That and your yoga will keep you super active with the best of both fit worlds!
